MatsuJun is a member of a boy group named "ARASHI" consists of Matsumoto Jun, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari, Sakurai Sho and Ohno Satoshi. Jun entered the JE last 1996, not like others who auditioned, Jun was asked by Johnny Kitagawa to join the said company. In September 1999, he was brought to Honolulu, Hawaii to join ARASHI and debuted as the youngest member of the group.
He started his acting career on 1997 in Bokura no yuuki ~miman toushi~ with his co-members of JE. Jun was acknowledge of his acting in an anime live action, Gokusen, where he played the role of Sawada Shin, which he won a Best Supporting Actor in the 44th Televison Drama Awards.
He also played the role of Goda Takeshi / Momo in a manga live action, Kimi WaPetto. In 2005, Jun took the role of Domyouji Tsukasa in an anime live action, Hana Yori Dango, which is followed by a second season and a movie will be releasing this year. 2007, he played the role of a cocky chef named Ban Shogo in a manga live action, Bambino.
2006, 8 members from different JE groups met up for dinner and decided to name themselves "No Border" this group is consist of Matsumoto Jun [ARASHI], Yamashita Tomohisa [NEWS], Shingo Murakami [Kanjani8], Satou Atsuhiro, Ikuta Toma [Johnny's Junior's]Domoto Koichi [Kinki Kids], Yamaguchi Tatsuya [TOKIO] and Takizawa Hideaki [Tackey & Tsubasa].
TRIVIAs about MATSUJUN
- Jun is very devoted to ARASHI, he was quoted that "If a building is going to collapse, Jun would be the one holding up the pillars so that the other Arashi member could escape."
- MatsuJun is myopic, he wears contact lenses at work and frequently seen wearing eye glasses.
- Unless he initiates it, Jun is not comfortable with other people touching him.
- Jun is not a very friendly person, he will not approach unless you do the first move... [like me x3]
- He likes to cross his leg while sitting. [i have noticed wahahaha]
- Aoki Kotomi, author of the manga "Boku wa Imouto ni koi o Suru" confessed that she nearly fainted when she found out that Jun was chosen to play the lead role of the twin brother, Yori.
- Satou Atsuhiro is a very respected senpai of Jun's, he feels that they are fated to be friends because they have the same birthday and same hobbies.
- Surfing is one of Jun's hobbies.
- Jun is a fan of Harry Potter franchise.

- When Jun is in his 2nd grade, he ran onto the road and knocked out by a van. When the ambulance arrived, he kept on apologising to the driver, saying he was naughty for running out onto the road.
- Oguri Shun got the role of Rui because Jun told the producers that he will not take the role of Domyouji if the Role of Rui will not be given to Shun.
- One of the reason why Jun took the role of Domyouji so that Arashi could released a new single, "WISH".
- Jun's ideal summer activity is to go to the beach and play with a dog even though he doesn't have a dog.

what can i say? speechless ne... hahaha... I choose MatsuJun because he is one of the hottest, sexiest, handsomest, cutest man made by God. I've been inlove with MatsuJun for how many centuries and still my love for him haven't changed hahaha... anyway he is my choice for this month... Let's Support MatsuJun!
