PLOT:

Ji-hae and Soo-kyoung are friends attending the same university and both have a crush on Sang-min who is in their drama club. The more clamorous and outgoing of the two, Soo-kyoung, asks Ji-hae to do her a favor - write a love letter to Sang-min. Ji-hae pours out her own feelings for him on paper, but sadly in her friend's name. Touched by the letter, Sang-min is attracted to Soo-kyoung, and Ji-hae, feeling uncomfortable and even guilty, tries to avoid him. And yet by coincidence or by fate she keeps running into him.

Ji-hae has lived alone with her mom since her childhood, when her dad unexpectedly passed away. Her mom is now on a trip abroad, and to wile away her solitude she starts cleaning the attic. There Ji-hae finds a secret box, in which her mom kept the memorabilia of her first love story of some decades past.

Summer in 1968... Joon-ha is visiting his uncle's home in the countryside during his summer vacation. There he meets Joo-hee and falls in love at first sight. One day, the lovely Joo-hee secretly asks Joon-ha to escort her to a haunted house in the village. Happy and excited to be at her service, Joon-ha meets her at their promised spot. But in an unexpected storm, the two lose their boat and barely manage to return home at a very late hour. Joo-hee gets into big trouble for this incident and is sent back to Seoul. Having parted with Joo-hee without a word of farewell, Joon-ha spends the rest of the summer heavy-hearted.

With summer vacation being over Joon-ha also returns to Seoul. At school, his classmate Tae-su asks him to write a love letter to send to a girl. And who would it be but Joo-hee, Joon-ha's dream girl. Unable to confess his own summer love story, Joon-ha reluctantly complies with his friend's request.

CAST:

  • Son Ye-jin as SONG Joo-hee / YOON Ji-hye
  • Jo Seung-woo as OH Joon-ha
  • Jo In-sung as OH Sang-min
I SAY:
All i can say about this movie?
Superb! One of the best movie ever!
Good looking leads, nice scenery, nice background music and everything. One of the most heart warming movies i have ever seen. One of the movies that made me cry specially the part where Joon-ha was on the train and Joo-hee is crying because Joon-ha is trying not to face Joo-hee and also the part where Joo-hee is in the war and realised he lost his necklace and came back to get it then he was attacked... awwww... but for me the saddest part there is when Joon-ha and Joo-hee met after the war and Joon-ha pretended that he is not blind but Joo-hee found out because of that piano doll... there also comedy, tae-soo's fart dance, hahaha... tae-soo's hairdo...
actually it was my 3rd time to watch but this time i have finished it... the first part was so boring and thought it will be like this all the way... i was wrong really wrong hahahhaa....
i envy son ye-jin for having a kiss from jo in-sung... O.O
kwak jae young's movies is sooo superb... i love his movies...
anyway i really recommend this movie for all of you... inlove, single, heartbroken... i know you'll appreciate it, not just appreciate but you will love it!

Death Note

The first movie I've watched is Death Note Live Action Movie... actually this is my 4th time to watched Death Note. I've been addicted to this movie since I have watched it. The cast was great. Fujiwara Tatsuya did a great job for his role as Yagami Light (Raito) and also Matsuyama Ken'ichi did a great job for being L Lawliet. I think it's really hard for Tatsuya to act as there is someone he is speaking to, something like that, he really did a great job. And Death Note is the best "HANGING MOVIE" ever! after you've watched this movie you really will crave for the next movie. I hate the part where Light killed Shiori just to be part of team and so he can kill L but still i love Light than L. XD

SYNOPSIS:
Yagami Light is a brilliant college student who, one day, finds a notebook simply titled "Death Note." Inside of this book is a list of rules and details as for the use of the "Death Note." When he realizes the power he holds, he decides he's going to make over the world. He wants to make it into a better place by killing those who do others harm. He has been nicknamed by the police "Kira." L, a brilliant detective who lives in secrecy, rises from the shadows and puts his life on the line trying to capture Light. Both L and Light believe themselves on the side of Justice, and the two match wits trying to show exactly which of them is "good" and which of them is "evil."

The second movie I've watched is the sequel of Death Note, Death Note: The Last Name. This was actually my third time watching it and never got bored. Toda Erika was once shown in the first Death Note as MisaMisa of Happy Sweets. The first scene is where Amane Misa was chased by the assistant director who is really obssess about her, Erika was so great! Like I've said the cast was great. Her child-like acting was great it's really different from her other roles such as Uehara Mariko of Nobuta Wo Produce; she acted here more mature, and Nakashima Umi of Hana Yori Dango 2 RETURNS; where she plays as a bad girl. And also I love her fashion style here, it so gothic and cute!

SYNOPSIS:
The Battle Continues. L is still Suspicious about Light Yagami. which he believes to be Kira and on the other Hand Light Yagami met a Girl who is believe to had a Death God Eyes and a Death Note. Now there are two Kira. Will L Succeed in Tracking Down Kira. Who will be the Last Name. Will Light Succeed in showing the new world.

CAST:
Fujiwara Tatsuya
as Yagami Light

Matsuyama Ken'ichi as L Lawliet

Toda Erika as Amane Misa [MisaMisa]

CHANGES From MANGA to LIVE ACTION MOVIE

  • There was no time delay, thus the story resolved in the First Arc

  • Instead of the Death Note being passed to Higuchi, it was passed to Takada, who killed her predecessor and became the anchor woman. After being captured by the Kira Investigation Team in the Sakura TV Station, she is killed by Light after he regains his memories in a manner similar to how he killed Higuchi in the manga.
  • Teru Mikami, Near, and Mello do not appear in the movies. [i love NEAR]

O yeah, I was so glad to hear that there will be a spin-off [thanks to joel for explaining to me what SPIN-OFF means, I'm such an idiot! XD] of Death Note, featuring L as the main character, is currently in pre-production. The film, tentatively entitled "L",will be directed by Ring director Hideo Nakata and set in the United States, and is scheduled to be released in 2008.Production is set to commence in August.

Nobuta Wo Produce

PLOT:
Kiritani Shuji is the popular guy who gets along with everyone, from the jerks to the nerds to the just plain weird. He's the one that everyone can count on. However, what they don't know is that Shuji knows how predictable his classmates are and he plays off their predictability to his advantage. His day-to-day existence as "Shuji-kun" is just a facade he uses to play in the school popularity game. Truth be told, Shuji is bored.

The one person Shuji cannot stand is Kusano Akira. To Shuji, Akira is just plain annoying. He laughs, talks and acts funny. Nobody in class takes Akira seriously. Shuji can't stand the sight of Akira and it drives him nuts that Akira does whatever he wants despite Shuji's expressed dislike of him.

Shuji has a daily ritual of touching a certain willow tree for good luck. One day, he is startled to find out that his willow tree was uprooted and in its place, a freaky-looking girl telling him that some people took the tree somewhere else to be spotted. She told him that she was planning to hang herself from that tree. Scared, Shuji runs away.

Things heat up when a new student comes to school. Shuji is shocked to find out that the new student was the freaky girl he saw the day his willow tree disappeared. Her name is Kotani Nobuko, a girl who has no self confidence at all and is content at being made fun of and bullied in school.

Shuji and Akira come to an accord that in order to make use of their "youth" they will "produce" Nobuko as the next popular girl. One of the conditions, however, is that nobody should find out that they are working together as a team to make this concept possible.

Of course, there can be no protagonist without an antagonist. There is a mysterious girl in school jeopardizing the duo's plan to make Nobuko popular. The mystery continues to unfold.

Unveiled here is the story of true friendship between three unlikely candidates who would not have been friends if not given the special circumstances.

CAST:

  • Kazuya Kamenashi [Kame] as Kiritani Shuji

  • Tomohisa Yamashita [YamaPi] as Kusano Akira

  • Horikita Maki as Kotani Nobuko / NOBUTA

I SAY:

Nana

This movie was based from a shoujo manga by mangaka Yazawa Ai. This movie is really great though it has some ecchi scenes XD. The story was great, when two girls who have the same age, and also have the same NAME, meet in a train by chance, and after a string of coincidences, they come to live together in an apartment numbered 707. Nakashima Mika's debut in acting and she was so great! I've just known Mika because of Gundam Seed's 3rd Ending Song entitled "Find The Way". Miyazaki Aoi is so cute! I love her! Now, I' am now a fan of Mika and Aoi ^ ^... When I heard the "Endless Story" by Reira featuring Yuna Ito, i became curious about the story of NANA.

CAST:
Nakashima Mika as Osaki Nana

Miyazaki Aoi as Komatsu Nana [Hachi]

Ryuhei Matsuda as Ren Honjo
Tetsuji Tamayama as Takumi Ichinose
Ken'ichi Matsuyama as Shinichi Okazaki
Hiroki Narimiya as Nobuo Terashima
Yuna Ito as Reira Serizawa

SYNOPSIS:
On board the train to Tokyo to meet her boyfriend Shoji, Nana Komatsu ("Hachi") happened to sit beside Nana Osaki who was traveling to Tokyo to fulfill her dreams of becoming a musician. The vocalist for her punk band "Black Stones", Nana aims for a major debut for "Black Stones" in Tokyo where her boyfriend, Ren, is the guitarist for a popular band "Trapnest". Sharing the same name "Nana", both girls quickly form a bond of friendship. Their paths cross again when they encounter each other while searching for accomodation in Tokyo. Eventually they decide to live together in the same unit and this further strengthens their bond as the two "Nana(s)" go through their love lives and career

I' am looking forward for the part 2. It was sad to know that Aoi was not the one who will played as Nana / Hachi and also Ryuhei will not be play his role as Ren. Also the one who played Shin was given to Hongo Kanata, I want Ken'ichi to play Shin. Ken'ichi is L Lawliet of Death Note.
